【SOLO BEIJING，03，03，2025】A press conference for the Third Session of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) was held at the Great Hall of the People on March 3 at 3:00 p.m. Spokesperson Liu Jieyi provided an overview of the upcoming session.
The session is set to open on March 4 at 3:00 p.m. and will conclude on the morning of March 10, spanning six days. Key agenda items include reviewing the work report of the CPPCC Standing Committee and the report on proposal handling, attending the Third Session of the National People’s Congress as non-voting delegates, and discussing the government work report. Several resolutions and reports will also be reviewed.
The schedule includes an opening and closing session, two plenary speeches, and discussions within sectoral groups and consultative meetings. Foreign diplomats in China have been invited to observe the opening and closing ceremonies.
In addition to the press conference, three “Members’ Passage” media events will be held.
