Toronto, March 25 — Canadian workers will see a boost in their paychecks next month as the federal minimum wage is set to increase.
The increase will affect thousands of workers in federally regulated industries, including banking, transportation, and telecommunications.
Labour advocates have welcomed the move but say more needs to be done to address income inequality.
